invented today it would be far more of a technological marvel than
the computer. It boots instantly. It is far more portable, the access
is easier - random or unrandom...". After all, the choicest
mannequin in the showcase of the worldwide web is the Library of
Congress, its millions of print pages digitized and interactivated.
